Some situations in life just seem impossible; fixing a relationship, changing old habits, getting out of debt—you name it. But when Jesus brought Lazarus back to life, He changed everything. He made the impossible, possible. When we invite Jesus into even our most difficult circumstances, when people see what Jesus does in the lives of everyday people like you and me, they put their faith in Him. It’s time to take off your grave clothes and come back to life.

Our words have the power to change the very direction of our lives and those around us. God shows us a whole new way to Say It; not like it is right now, but like He wants to see it.

As one of Jesus’ closest friends, Peter saw things no one else saw and did things no one else dared to do. He was a bold risk-taker. But when most of us think of Peter, we think of his failures—having little faith, acting impulsively, and denying he ever knew Jesus. They threatened to discourage, defeat, and define his identity, making him less than God made him to be. Thankfully, his story didn’t end there. Jesus saw Peter’s future, not his failure. Could he do the same for you?

It’s easy to look at great athletes, talented performers, and influential leaders and marvel at their gifts. In ancient times, Samson’s gift of supernatural strength was revered by his friends and feared by his enemies. Samson had unlimited potential and God-given purpose, but he wasted his gift in the selfish pursuit of pleasure and power. Like Samson, we all have God-given gifts and we’re given a choice – use it for God or waste it on us…don’t waste your gift.

Search Engine

January 9, 2011
Everybody is searching for something. We search for everything from cancer cures to how to program our remote, gaining almost immediate access to information and solutions. Many times we search for God the way we search in Google©—expecting quick answers and significant life change in the blink of an eye. As a result, we’ve forgotten how to dig deeper to find the real treasure. Our spiritual search engines are rusty and lack horsepower. But if we truly want a life of purpose, peace, and power, we must be willing to search. So let the search begin.
